Job Description: Responsible for the preparation and presentation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS / Local accounting GAAP. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the monthly closing of books and account and prepare monthly adjustments entries. Ensure compliance with local regulatory reporting requirements. To assist the Head of Financial Reporting in discharging various duties related to business. Support Head Office with the implementation of IFRS 9 as per CBE regulations & instructions in a timely manner. Support Head Office with the implementation of new policies and other control initiatives and adherence to existing ones. Actively chase completion of internal and external audit comments within target dates. Job Requirements: 6 years’ relevant experience in the banking sector in similar positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities in accounting and finance Understanding of accounting principles. Strong data reconciliation and data analysis skills. Excellent experience with Microsoft Office.
