Job Description: We are looking for diligent candidates with prior experience in workplace & office Ergonomics to serve as the subject matter expert by providing technical expertise on all Ergonomics related matters. Provide guidance to line management on implementing internal Ergonomics standards, industry consensus standard /guidance. Implementation of comprehensive Ergonomics Management program across TSL India. One should have an analytical bent of mind with an established decision making skills, ability to influence management with excellent verbal and written communication. Job Responsibilities: To provide technical support on development of internal Ergonomics standards or improvements for existing standards. Communication of risk across the workforce. Facilitate line manager for implementing Ergo control measures. To improve awareness amongst employees by providing regular training on Workplace Ergonomics & Office Ergonomics. To establish a uniform Ergonomics management program across the organisation. To handle Ergonomics Lab equipment like Heart Rate Monitor, Skin temperature sensors with data logger, Electronic push-pull gauge, Skinfold calliper, EMG unit with mobile data logger, Human Vibration analyser, Electro-Goniometer (5 joints), Back-Leg dynamometer, Metabolic testing system. Preparation of Ergo hazard & risk matrix based on assessment and prioritizing risks. Identification of Ergonomics hazards by Workplace & Office Ergonomics risk assessment (Regular shop floor visit) by using standard tools like REBA, RULA, Lifting Index, EPI, Physiological assessment etc. Job Requirements: Experience : Minimum two years’ work experience in Workplace Ergonomics & Office Ergonomics. Implementation of comprehensive Ergonomics programs within an integrated steel plant or other industry sector with high hazard operations. Minimum Qualification :·M.Sc. (Physiology with specialization in Ergonomics and Work Physiology), from a Recognized University.
