Job Responsibilities Trades renewable diesel and renewable LPG’s. Trades renewable feedstocks when needed. Coordinates supply transactions with various DGD departments. Develops and maintains relations with suppliers and customers. Helps develop new potential low carbon markets with a focus on the northeast part of the US. Reports public policy developments in potential low carbon markets to DGD Commercial team. Coordinates department operations with appropriate Company personnel. Recommends and implements strategic courses of action relative to regulatory policy. Recommends and implements strategic courses of action relative to renewable diesel and renewable LPGs sales. Evaluates sales, purchases, exchanges or processing agreements. Resolves problems associated with transactions. Job Requirements Ability to evaluate complicated transactions required. Bachelor’s or higher level degree required. Additional trading experience related to either the petroleum or agricultural industries preferred. 10 years of trading experience preferred. Knowledge of scheduling petroleum products preferred. 5+ years of experience in the following area(s) are required: Knowledge and understanding of marketing and renewable fuels terminology preferred. Knowledge of public policy proposals on the federal and state level in the renewable fuels industry preferred. Logistics and regulatory experience preferred. Ability to use initiative and independent judgement required. Trading biomass-based diesel and/or renewable feedstocks Excellent decision making skills required. Ability to work and concentrate in a trading room environment including noise and distractions required.
