Job Description: As an Activity Based Driver, you'll drive, perform preventive maintenance, and be responsible for the content, condition, and security of cargo. You may also work as a Lead. Job Responsibilities: Unloads trailer at Store deliveries Adheres to accountability methods of receiving all products as purchased / loaded onto the trailer at pick-up time from vendor Maintains mule / tractor / trailer equipment in accordance with prescribed preventive maintenance schedule Records all hours of service performed, as required by DOT Monitors, documents, and controls refrigerated commodities requiring specific temperature settings / readings Completes all required documents for load transporting, including vendors, store deliveries, bills of lading, etc. Maintains responsibility for content and condition of cargo / commodity / product within trailer; ensures all cargo is secured Maintains status as a qualified driver in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR) Job Requirements Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen, and meet all DOT driver qualifications 2 years and 100,000 miles of driving experience (external) Never had a suspended or revoked driver licenses, permits, or privileges in any state / county Minimum age of 21 years A high school diploma Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment Ability to work weekends, nights, and holidays 15,000 H-E-B miles of driving experience or certification as an H-E-B relief driver (internal); meet all required qualifications as a driver High school diploma or equivalent Maintain status as an FMCSR-qualified driver Ability to manage multiple priorities and shift focus between tasks in a fast-paced, unsupervised environment; attention to detail 2 years and 100,000 miles of driving experience Job Details Company: H-E-B Vacancy Type: Part Time Job Location: Temple, TX, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
