Job Description: Responsible for supporting internal and external teams and business partners in the ongoing development and execution of the Ground Operation Department's strategy. Job Responsibilities: Analyze data, gather insights, and model various futures quantitatively Provide research & impact analysis on important strategic topics including competitive strategy (including M&A and Partnership Relationships) and disruptive trends Interact with SMEs and functional Leaders in support of Southwest’s vision “To be the World’s Most Flown, Most Loved, and Most Profitable Airline” May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders Orchestrate service research, test, and design sessions using a variety of tools/techniques that allow participants to validate service components and define detailed requirements Contribute to the ongoing development of the department's strategy by incorporating quantitative and qualitative insights that help identify operational gaps and pioneer solutions that drive service value propositions Collaborate with internal and external teams to consolidate different viewpoints, devise a strategy, and develop a plan biased for the creation and launch of prototypes Utilize the Company’s strategic planning methodology to provide thought leadership in the development of functional strategies Job Requirements: Skills translating analysis into visualization via tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Tableau) Experience with and proficiency of quantitative analytics tools is preferred (e.g., SQL, VBA, Excel, SAS) Strong comfort with ambiguity and imperfect information Positive as well as interactive attitude Experience working and proficiency with quantitative analysis and data modeling is preferred Strong quantitative skills Must be adaptable and have an analytical approach to work Ability to foster teamwork Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly Ability to think across multiple time horizons, connecting the “big picture” and the “now” Experience in developing and delivering presentations to groups of up to 15-20 people Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to gather facts, conduct analysis, and translate data into meaningful insights Job Details: Company: Southwest Airlines Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Dallas, TX, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
