Job Description: This job contributes to Starbucks success by protecting partners and securing the Company’s assets through efficient risk management and effective communication thus enabling the company’s mission. Job Responsibilities: Efficient interpretation of exception data to identify risk and ascertain an effective solution. Maximise business profitability through effective management of safety and risk Evaluate, recommend efficiencies, and maintain adequate insurance policies To ensure policy and best practice are applied consistently and robustly across all business partners Build a sophisticated network both internally and externally to gain new insights and support as required Liaise with police, legal departments, and outside agencies To keep abreast of modern and new technology in respect of prevention and detection techniques to enable proactive risk mitigation approach to be taken To conduct appropriate training in safety and risk management to all business partners in line with agreed objectives Provide support, advice, and guidance to all business partners within EMEA partners to ensure a proactive focus on safety and risk management is maintained Where applicable; constantly review the use of equipment & procedures designed to reduce or prevent risk. Overseeing & monitoring any implementation ensuring delivery within the budget Carry out audits/ gap assessments, highlighting areas of potential risk and shortcomings. Make recommendations at all levels to reduce risks Job Requirements: Uses initiative to autonomously problem solve Appropriate analytical skills with attention to detail Appropriate level of criminal; civil and H&S legislation Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Effective project management Skilled investigator/interviewer Set direction for self Commercially astute and able to be flexible.
