Job Responsibilities: SAFETY: Comply with company and federal safety rules, policies and procedures to include: wear required safety equipment; respond to and act on safety concerns. EQUIPMENT REPAIR: Repair and maintain engines including: 1 to16 HP Briggs and Stratton; 1 to 4 cylinder Wisconsin; Detroit; John Deere; and Cummings. Replace and maintain bearings and gears in Funk, Allison, and Clark transmissions. Maintain front-end loaders - Caterpillars and Motor Graders. Troubleshoot and repair 6V, 12V, and 24V electrical systems. Repair and maintain various hydraulic systems. OPERATE EQUIPMENT: Operate large manual hand tools and electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic hand tools such as drills and impact wrenches. Occasionally operate backhoe, trencher, and other heavy equipment.
