Job Description: As we’ve recently announced, we are moving our Toronto-area Downstream offices (which are focused primarily on refining and marketing) to Calgary, to ensure we remain competitive for the long-term and to better integrate our Downstream business with the rest of Suncor. You will be a key member of the Suncor team with a strong focus on providing support while ensuring a high degree of reliability of the TopTech mission critical system. Job Responsibilities: Monitor performance and manage the reliability of the national Terminal Management System (TMS) network across the country Build strong positive relationships with vendors and while utilizing your continuous improvement mindset to provide input into research and development (R&D) of the product Develop budgets and life cycle planning for hardware and software within the install base Identify and assess opportunities for automation Project resource for Terminal operations projects and commissioning Review and implement legislative and company policies and standards including SOX related processes Job Requirements: A post-secondary education in Computer Studies, Engineering Technician, or equivalent Strong communication skills which allow you to collaborate effectively to achieve the best results and deliver the most value The ability to meet multiple concurrent project deadlines and deal quickly and decisively with issues as they arise A continuous improvement mindset and you are able to seek greater knowledge and understanding of the systems, process and hazards in the workplace A valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record Alignment with our values safety above all else, stronger together, operational discipline, curiosity and lifelong learning, and act with integrity Job Details: Company: Suncor Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Calgary, CA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
