Job Description As the IT Operations Manager, you will oversee and ensure the delivery and effective functioning of ERP and related computer systems. The role demands strong, hands-on operational technical experience in systems administration, management and development, as well as proven skills in leading and managing technical teams, both on and offshore. The role is an essential part of a cross-functional IT/Business Team that designs solutions and delivers projects to budget and schedule. An agile and adaptive approach is needed in our dynamic, fast paced environment. Job Responsibilities Management and technical leadership for all software development, integrations, hardware (Cloud Environment), network & configuration Enterprise system design and development Works with business subject matter experts to develop and implement project management plans to ensure the success of projects Hardware Build (Data Centre) IT Project - Management Systems (e.g Confluence, JIRA, Quality Centre) Managing the Software Development Lifecycle from requirements to development Research solution options in conjunction with Solution Architect Writing technical specifications Regularly communicate with key senior stakeholders to ensure the identification and tracking of project objectives Manage Data Migration Applying standard structured approaches to deliver improvement requirements as identified Ensuring timely risk management procedures are established and maintained Creating and executing against the project plan Development of functional, technical, integration specifications Responsible for technical design and advice to determine appropriate interim and strategic solutions for the company’s ERP solution Managing testing and Go Live support Establishing and maintaining strong, productive relationships with internal clients, vendors and other key stakeholders Job Requirement At least 5+ years recent and proven experience as a hands-on Operations Manager in the IT industry managing large scale ERP or similar systems Excellent organisational skills Systems Knowledge – QAD and related suite, JD Edwards, DSI, SAP Able to manage people with various skills sets and years of experience whilst gaining their respect Proven track record managing teams and performance to agreed outcomes, both local and offshore Good logical & analytical problem resolution skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Dynamic, agile, flexible and positive approach Strong hands-on technical experience with IT systems and processes Previous direct responsibility for system availability in a mission critical environment Strong leadership qualities and able to lead by example Front-end web development experience in the context of ERP systems Strong stakeholder skills - able to manage expectations from the outset Job Details Company: Dnata Vacancy Type: Full-time Job Location: Mascot, AU Application Deadline: N/A APPLY HERE
