Job Description Overview of the role. Working for one of the leading travel brands in the UK this award winning business which is made up of a number of well known brands is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their growing team based in Kingston Upon Thames initially for a four month temporary position. As an Accounts Payable Assistant you will be handling large volumes of provider statements, Job Requirement you will be processing these in line with a structured payment process. You will also be helping out external partners should they experience any complications with their payments, this will be via email and phone. Critical competencies for the role. You will be expected to be able to quickly reconcile statements in Excel in several difference currencies ensuring payments are made promptly and any differences are identified and sent for further investigation at the earliest opportunity. Attention to details Ability to work effectively with large data and remain focussed Ability to work to deadlines Good rapport building skills (Intermediate) Excel skills and experience are essential (Vlookups, Concatenate etc.) The key requirement within this position revolve around making sure hotels are promptly paid upon sending a statement, however the role can become more expansive as experience of various areas of the department grows.
