Job Description: As the Transportation Planner, you will provide functional support for the Rural Planning Office, which includes Intergovernmental Review (IGR), Regional Planning and Transit. You will provide technical assistance, support, and coordination with difficult and complex transportation planning projects for both internal and external transportation partners. You will assist other Caltrans offices and local agencies by providing technical assistance in relation to general transportation planning activities. An Associate Transportation Planner in this position would also attend various public meetings and provide reports on behalf of the Department and Senior Transportation Planner.
