Job Description: The incumbent is responsible for the administrative management of all extramural fiscal awards program, assisting the Management Official in the review, evaluation and execution of external resource funding and in maintaining an effective and efficient resource management system. The incumbent provides a variety of technical expertise, budgetary, planning and administrative support functions vital to the administration of intramural and extramural budget. Job Responsibilities: As a Resource Management Specialist you will: Participate in the planning, development and implementation of extramural program and objectives. Serve as a project officer for extramural awards for the Division involving cooperative agreements, and contracts Participate in the oversight and administrative management of all the Division's external fiscal awards including major contracts, cooperative agreements, and interagency agreements. Provide guidance and technical assistance to the Division staff in the development and preparation of Extramural Program Announcements and assistance requests. Serve as Project Officer for extramural awards for the programs involving cooperative agreements, and contracts. Establish and maintain working relationships with internal and/or external customers.
