Job Description: This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Asst Secretary for Housing-Federal Housing Commissioner. Job Responsibilities: Serve as a technical advisor to the Property Disposition Division Director or Supervisory Realty Specialists on all matters related to the relocation of tenants and the acquisition, management, repair and sale of HUD-owned projects, relocation of tenants, partial payment of claims and foreclosures of defaulted loans. Service difficult and complex multifamily projects which may have controversies, opposing special interest groups, adverse economic or environmental circumstances and impact on the community. Perform pre-disposition review, analysis, and procedures necessary to achieve the relocation of tenants from substandard HUD-assisted or subsidized properties, facilitate an expeditious transition to HUD-owned or MIP status, or initiation of sale activities. Facilitate or provide training to property management and relocation contractors and agents on new programs, changes in HUD policies, procedures, and regulations.
