Job Responsibilities: Duties include operating a radio console, transmit and receive radio traffic; document information in CAD or on cards; dispatch appropriate personnel and resources; answer emergency and non-emergency calls from the officers, public, media and allied agencies; use of computer equipment, access information, enter and update into various data bases; monitor and utilize communications related equipment; maintain related logs and files; sitting/standing for prolonged periods of time. Work various shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime- as needed. Consistently report to work on time with a minimum of absences.
