Takes responsibility for and maintains all equipment, including weapons, ammunition, and other specialized law enforcement equipment; attends required training; and maintains proficiency in all issued equipment. Responds to emergent situations such as natural disasters, civil unrest, or other tactical situations to protect lives and prevent criminal acts. work with people of any race or ethnic group. work assignments with co-workers of the opposite sex. work in any location within the County of Los Angeles. injure and perhaps kill another person in defense of your life or the life of others. Appears in court to testify in legal proceedings.
