Job Description: As an SUPERVISORY ASYLUM OFFICER (DEPUTY CENTER DIRECTOR), you will provide direction to staff engaged in the administration of Immigration and Nationality laws pertinent to the Asylum Program, serve as a USCIS representative on asylum matters, and lead in the strategic mission and resource management of an Asylum Office. Job Responsibilities: Ensure office resources are effectively used to timely process asylum, credible fear, reasonable fear and NACARA cases. Ensure integrity in case processing to achieve a high level of quality in adjudications/decisions. Foster effective relationships with governmental and non-governmental partners, both internationally and domestically to promote mission of Asylum Division. Formulate short and long term strategies for asylum office consistent with Asylum Division goals to help the organization accomplish its mission and objectives, and prepares plans and timetables for the implementation of these strategies.
