Job Description: As part of the "building a digital colleague experience" Programme, we have a number of initiatives supporting the Colleague Lifecycle including Central Documentation Management. As a Technical Programme Manager you will work with multiple teams both inside and outside of Colleague to understand the roadmap requirements for these initiatives and delivery. You will deliver complex, cross-functional technology programmes that support colleagues and help serve our customers better. You will work collaboratively and influence Product, Software Engineering and business colleagues and lead the programme to deliver value quickly and often. Job Responsibilities: Understanding trade-offs in software delivery using experience and influencing skills to drive consensus with the Engineering and Product teams to obtain the best value and solution Creating and tracking a plan to deliver the programme goals, including the technical implementation plan, ensuring colleagues and stakeholders from across Tesco are kept up-to-date Collaborating with the Product and Engineering teams to define annual budgetary requirements Foresee potential risks and issues, establish a process, facilitate discussion and manage escalations Building positive relationships with stakeholders to deliver software or professional services, holding them to account on delivery and improvement plans Contribute actively to TPM community Delivering complex programmes with multiple business and technical risks that will impact the success of key Tesco business priorities Job Requirements: Knowledge of Programme Methodologies Have experience of building credible relationships and influencing senior management Strong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills Experience analysing data Knowledge of Programme Governance Experience managing Risk Adept communication & influencing skills and adoptability to changes Experience communicating and influencing software development teams, product teams, programme teams or third party vendors Good reporting skills for programs and financial forecasting Have a proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology projects/programmes Job Details: Company: Tesco Vacancy Type: Temporary Job Location: Welwyn Garden City, England, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
