Job Description: As an Image Quality Engineer, you will work with consumer application testing expertise. You will join the team of hands-on, proactive, self-motivated and seasoned professionals. Job Responsibilities: Work with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implemented. Establish and expand a test suite of images to be used for image quality assessments. Establish image testing regression scripts, tools and procedures in Python/Shell. Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution. Test Image Signal Processor (ISP) and camera parameters to obtain the best quality image under various light conditions. Interpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development process. Qualification & Experience: Strong familiarity with camera optics, image sensor technology, and experience with ISP algorithms (AE, AWB, AF, etc.) Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering OR equivalent industry experience. Excellent organization skills with meticulous attention to detail. Experience in the field of image processing, image capture, ISP design and architecture and testing. Experience working in the consumer electronics field is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Experience of software QA testing with black, grey box functional testing. Experience working in Machine learning/Deep learning field is a plus. Experience writing code in one or more of the following: Python, MATLAB, Shell.
