Job Description: We are currently hiring a goal-oriented Material Handler in Lathrop, CA. This individual will be driven to succeed and will be responsible for assisting in day-to-day operations of the parts distribution warehouse. This will include assisting production and engineering groups by locating and acquiring parts from the manufacturers cataloguing system, and supporting production by conveying inventory to manufacturing lines. The Material Handler will also stock and organize parts inventory. Job Responsibilities: Optimize packaging for all outbound shipments Manage space optimization within the distribution center Ensure timely receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping of inventory to store locations and external customers Support production by conveying parts between the distribution center and manufacturing lines Support commercial invoicing, shipping documentation, and country-of-origin info, as needed, to support international shipping Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies Communicate with and support management of inventory within the distribution center, including daily control of cycle counts of the distribution center inventor Job Requirements: Must be able to lift 30 lbs. on a regular, repetitive basis Ability to work independently on a variety of tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment with various teams Warehouse/Material Handling experience in a large manufacturing environment strongly preferred A valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record (subject to review) Data entry experience required, working knowledge of Excel preferred Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy are essential Working knowledge of major inventory systems such as SAP or Oracle Experience with shipping, receiving, and inventory control Robust forklift driving experience, and various other conveyance equipment such as pallet jacks and/or tuggers Professional, can-do attitude, team player Job Details: Company: Tesla Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Lathrop, CA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
