Job Responsibilities: Ensures sufficient support is maintained for company payment processed by the Miami office Prepares month-end account reconciliations, journal entries and support schedules Presents results and follow-through to completion for all initiatives Works multiple projects simultaneously, setting deadlines and adjusting priorities based on guidance from the Manager Prepares ad-hoc reports for special projects as requested by the Accounting Manager Domestic and International travel may be required Processes all new vendor set up requests, validating the vendor’s validity and ensuring proper support for all requests was obtained Job Requirements: Ability to maintain and respect confidentiality at all times and to ensure adherence to the Company’s Confidentiality Policy Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with minimal supervision Demonstrated knowledge of airline accounting practices Ability to undertake appropriate training as needed and to take responsibility for self-development Strong organizational skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience/training Ability to work with mainframe based tools; proficient with PC and Microsoft Office software (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) Demonstrates excellent qualitative and quantitative analytical Job Details: Company: American Airlines Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Miami, FL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
