Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating testing and training completed by key users who will provide on-going first line support
  • Providing high-quality support to the key users and hence to the wider business community during and after the projects, including maintaining focus on Group norms and legal obligations, including data processing and IT security
  • Vendor Selection and Contracts Preparation
  • Integration into the existing application landscape involving appropriate contacts
  • Deliver on time, on cost, projects of the highest quality through effective planning and documentation, following established L’Oreal project methodology and governance
  • Participation in defining the business case, cost model and overall objectives of a project
  • Manage the supplier relationship for project and business-as-usual activities, ensuring excellence in processes including escalation of support calls within the external and internal IT teams
  • Ensure the correct transfer of knowledge to ensure quality of operation
  • Business expectations converted into signed-off business requirements
  • Ensure that all projects are properly resourced and supported by the business

Job Requirements:

  • Strong Project Management experience, ideally working in both Waterfall and Agile environments
  • Consumer Goods Cosmetics
  • The flexibility to travel to various sites in the UK (and potentially abroad), including overnight stays at certain times .
  • Transversal leadership skills with stakeholders at all levels
  • Highly organised with prioritisation skills and the a bility to work in a fast paced environment while under pressure
  • Experience either working in an IT team or working in partnership with IT on technology projects
  • Innovative with drive and passion to continually evolve the role and the systems for the benefit of the business
