Job Description: Amazon is seeking an experienced and business oriented EU Engineering Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of highly complex logistic process automation and storage projects for the continued expansion of our EU fulfillment network. Job Responsibilities: Assist in engineering capacity management for EU Coordinate information between various teams in the organization Prepare and conduct weekly standing meetings with internal teams and external vendors to plan and track deliverables Create, submit and track the relevant CAPEX documentation to ensure that all projects are delivered within budget and best overall value Assess and communicate project status, drive escalations on potential risks and delays across multiple teams and leadership Assist in providing equipment specifications and technical support to procurement and other business partners for best value and competition Work very closely with Construction/Real Estate, IT and Operation from project start to go live End-to-end ownership for large-scale engineering projects Lead technical design reviews and propose design solutions for material handling and storage solutions that meet both business needs and global design standards Lead critical path items, dive deep on technical details and provide innovative solutions to resolve issues Job Requirements: Strong knowledge about automated material handling systems, packaging technologies and storage solutions Comprehensive understanding of operational as well as reliability and maintenance processes including relevant software tools A plus is speaking other EU languages Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering or related discipline Excellent working knowledge using MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project and related software Experience with process design based on Lean Principles Proven technical leadership and project management experience in development and implementation of large scale and complex engineering projects Ability to lead internal teams and manage vendor relations Fluency in English Job Details: Company: Amazon Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Doncaster, England, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
