Job Description: The Sr. Product Manager EU Labor Market Intelligence will be responsible to develop and manage an international, divers and high performing science team in the area of workforce staffing. The successful candidate will be a cross-functional leader that drives the vision, strategy and execution of a newly created science team. The team’s objective is to inform leadership on macro-economic developments and movements of available workforce within countries and across borders. The team will develop products which will deliver actionable insights by utilizing latest econometric models using our world class data systems, and apply economic theory to solve our workforce constraints of the future. This role is truly a jack of all trades; it will be part actionable science delivery, part international stakeholder management, and part strategic decision making. Earn a seat in the senior decision-making tables because you bring the trusted insights and frameworks to solve Operations most complex growth, scale, and people-related challenges. Build trustful relationships with cross functional teams (e.g. public policy, operations, comp & ben), share insights, align goals and drive long term strategy Hire and develop a high performing Economist/Data Science team, which will deliver actionable insights Develop a product and technology initiative based on a bleeding-edge business concept Translate strategic requirements into research, experimentation, and product development Lead the project plan from a scientific perspective on product launches including identifying potential risks, key milestones, and paths to mitigate risks Mentor the team to enable them to deliver actionable insights in time and quality Drive the Vision, develop a long-term strategy, and create the roadmap of a newly created science team Qualification & Experience: 5+ years cross-functional Product Management experience working closely between business stakeholders and technical teams MBA Previous experience with workforce staffing science and/or people analytics teams Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business or a related discipline Proven experience creating product roadmaps, strategy documents (2-5 year plans), functional requirements, and/or rough wireframes Experience in top tier Strategy Consulting or senior operational or supply chain leadership Experience working with Scientists, Economists, Software Developers, and/or Product Managers General manager / owner mentality that can flex cross-functionally across product, science/tech, program management or even wireframing in a pinch Job Details: Company: Amazon Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Edinburgh, Scotland, UK Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
