Job Description: Do you want to be a part of AWS growth story? AWS Region Services Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the expanding business. The team is responsible for financial analysis and forecast required to support business decisions in new region launch and existing region management. The Senior Financial Analyst will be the key finance contact for multiple business teams and work closely with senior finance management, infrastructure business partners, and regional business partners across the AWS organization. The role requires strategic thinking, a data-driven and analytical mindset, strong communication skills and a bias toward action. Job Responsibilities: Collaborate cross-functionally with Corporate FP&A, Services Finance, as well as business partners including Infrastructure Planning, Regional Business Development and Data Analytics team Provide financial metrics and financial bridge to identify region performance drivers and cost improvement opportunities Develop complex financial models and leverage analytical tools to simplify or improve process and to better support decision making Manage Region Services P&L financial reporting and forecasting for existing regions and new regions Provide Ad-hoc project support, deep-dive analysis and communicate results effectively with business partners and senior leadership Support AWS Region long-range planning including revenue forecast, infrastructure costs planning, OpEx and CapEx projection Drive the financial planning process and pricing exercises for new region services launch and existing region business expansion Job Requirements: Proactive, process- and results-driven, able to set priorities right and committed to deadlines Excellent Project Management skills Advanced Financial Modeling and Excel skills Highly analytical and detail oriented MBA Preferred 5+ years of finance experience or a related analytical field.
