Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Performance Engineering Manager to lead a team of simulation engineers and BIEs. The successful candidate will be a member of the European Amazon Logistics Central Engineering team and will be responsible to form a technical team focusing on simulation and data analytics to support our growing automation portfolio in EU. This role requires experienced and entrepreneurial minded individuals with combined robotics, engineering, planning and analytical skills. This individual will own the development of a new team charter, create the vision for simulation and analytics in engineering and enable data driven decision making for leadership. Job Responsibilities: Hire and develop a team of simulation engineers, BIEs and data analysts Create the roadmap for the performance engineering team for 2023 and beyond Responsible for providing the dashboards and tool sets to engineering teams for measuring performance of automation Introducing digital twin and AI capabilities within engineering to enable faster decision making on new automation tech Being a key stakeholder in Automation program decisions for new and existing tech in the field Responsible for gathering business and customer requirements to develop new reporting capabilities Performing predictive analytics for future tech integration based on automation deployment performance Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent industrial background Demonstrated Engineering experience in an automation, robotics or manufacturing environment Experience in forming a team from ground up Having led Simulation and Analytics previously Proven ability to troubleshoot and identify the root cause of issues, drive improvements, and implement preventive measures Master’s Degree in Engineering or MBA Technical experience with simulation tools and analytics tools (front-end) Knowledge of at least one other EU language is advantageous (German, French, Italian or Spanish) Strong problem solving and analytical skills Job Details: Company: Amazon Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Munich, Bavaria, Germany Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
