Job Description: As Chief Data Officer you will take the lead on defining and delivering our data and digitalisation strategy. Key to this will be leading and developing our new Data and Digital Insights team bringing together expertise in regulatory data policy, data analysis, and data science. This is an opportunity for an experienced, senior data professional to play a highly influential leadership role that can radically impact on how data informs and enhances how the energy marketplace operates for consumers. For this role successful candidates will: Job Responsibilities: Responsible for building and supporting the teams delivering the work including effective scoping of work and setting of clear responsibilities. Effectively undertakes appropriate and necessary D&I focus within their team and the wider organisation. Jointly responsible with the Professional Development Lead (PDL) on welfare and pastoral care of all colleagues. Accountable for agreeing and delivering on budget and resource requirements. Encourages and supports development of colleagues within profession and teams. Develops, plans and delivers work outcomes, including clear and transparent work objectives, milestones and success metrics. Job Requirements: Plan, oversee and deliver a significant programme of work on time, on budget and to a high standard through effective management and support of multiple teams. Lead a group of multi-disciplinary teams in the context of operating in a Professions and Flexible Resourcing operating model.
