Job Description: The Senior Supply Planner is responsible for planning the production and distribution of finished goods across the network while achieving desired service, inventory, capacity, and total delivered cost targets. This includes incorporating the best available inputs to maintain production, capacity, inventory settings, and policies by SKU/location in the planning system. Applying sound business judgment and facilitating robust cross-functional discussions to develop plans to be used by manufacturing, sourcing, distribution, and transportation functions as well as business units for planning, execution, and financial management Job Responsibilities: Manage phase in/out strategies for promotional activities and product discontinuations. Lead the supply portion of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, focusing on delivering a concise business message, highlighting exceptions and presenting qualified alternatives. Evaluate Sales and Marketing activity proposals for capacity requirements and production feasibility; resolve supply issues related to the requests. Provide Product Supply (PS) Support for the Strategic Product Plan, including designing the supply chain and launch plans for major initiatives and new products. Manage relationships with plants to eliminate of obstacles to more efficient production cycles. Coordinate the business budget process by developing sourcing plans, inventory targets, and plant production budgets for each fiscal year, with updates as required by the business. Coordinate with other functions (such as Logistics) to build consistent assumptions for their budget development. Leverage the Supply Planning processes to develop Fiscal Year forecasts during the business planning cycles Monitor plan attainment and cut reports Communicate service issues and coordinate resolution Develop, monitor and report key performance metrics Deliver against annual Total Delivered Cost, inventory plans, capacity plans, and service level targets Improve plan performance by effectively analyzing sources of error and recommending appropriate corrective action plans. Foster cross-functional discussion to improve the quality and interpretation of supply plans Conduct regular continuous improvement and process effectiveness/efficiency reviews. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution High school diploma from an accredited institution 5 years of work experience within Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or similar roles Able to analyze data, draw reasonable conclusions, and formulate next steps 3 years of work experience in Planning, Supply Chain, or similar roles Experience using Advanced Planning software tools Consumer Packaged Goods experience Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
