Job Description

We have expanded significantly since that time across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Iraq. We have been supporting the RTA to operate the Dubai Metro since 2009 and have launched the flagship Saudi Arabia Passenger Rail service from Riyadh to Qassim in 2017. We deliver Facility Management services to Hospitals, Universities, Airports, Military Facilities and Commercial Estates in the UAE and large-scale medical facilities in Saudi Arabia. We also deliver staff training and education to selected officers of the Qatar Armed Forces at the Officers’ training institute located at the Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College in Doha.

Job Responsibilities

  • In the event of an incident, the Captain is to assume the post of Bronze Commander within the Incident
  • Command Structure, until relieved by the Chief 3. The Captain is to ensure that the principles of Dynamic
  • Operational Risk Assessment are maintained throughout the incident. Analytical Risk Assessments are to be produced and this information provided to the Incident Commander. Silver Command are to be regularly updated.
  • To actively promote Safety, Health, Welfare and the Environment.
  • The Captain is to ensure that he is in-date with his own personal medical standards, his fire trade qualifications, station specific equipment competencies are in-date and any deficiencies are reported to the Station Manager.
  • All fire incidents are to be reported using the Serco and Dammam Airport Company systems; any incidents/accidents to Fire Station staff resulting in an injury are to be reported using the appropriate format.
  • Post incident, carry out on site debrief (hot debrief) to highlight any immediate lessons learnt. Carry out a full debrief of the incident following the return to normal duties – this is to be documented using the appropriate format.
  • Captains are to carry out maintenance of skills training during each shift in accordance with the Fire Station maintenance of skill training syllabus. Records of all incidents attended and any training sessions are to be maintained on the Fire Station training system for all firefighters.
  • All vehicles and equipment are to be checked at the start of each shift and be operationally ready at all times.
  • Any defects or deficiencies are to be reported to your line manager.
  • To ensure that sufficient vehicles and manpower are available for the airfield category required; any deficiencies are reported directly to the duty Chief 3.
  • All fire incidents are to be reported using the appropriate systems; any incidents to section staff resulting in an injury are to be reported using the appropriate format.

Job Requirements

  • Airport Experience
  • Operational Breather Apparatus Wearers Assessment Certificate
  • Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS) or equivalent
  • Qualified as a Breathing Apparatus Trainer
  • Qualified as a Working at Height Trainer
  • High Reach Extendable Turret qualified
  • Airport Experience
