Reporting to the Senior Manager, OCC, and Planning, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for overseeing day-of operations and crew scheduling. This position requires a highly energetic, forward-thinking, and organized individual who can work effectively in a high-stress, deadline-driven, and ever-changing work environment. Job Responsibilities: Investigating and following up with stations, and flight crews to ensure accurate coding of delays for all flights Reviewing all Captain reports for issues and comments and ensuring the OTP delays are being properly recorded Performing other duties and assignments, as required. Completing reports as required and assigned Answering, directing, resolving inbound crew or ground operations calls into the Operations Centre Ensuring all APIS and/or GENDEC transmissions are completed, as required Ensuring Daily, Weekly and Monthly Operation Coordinator checklists are completed Supporting the Duty Officer during all operations Assisting with coordinating and building ad hoc charter flights (ground handling, airport PPRs, etc.) Ensuring that the operational software is updated with accurate aircraft tails and times and that changes are communicated and actioned by other departments Coordinating in-flight services (catering) changes on a per flight basis Monitoring day-of operations flights and communicating delays, or any other changes to airport operations, dispatch, and maintenance, as applicable Job Requirements: Knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR’s) as they apply to 705 operations is preferred. Must be able to read, understand and apply CARs regulations, related legislation, and company policies and procedures. Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain organized workflow. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) is essential. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Clear criminal record check. High school or GED equivalent. Previous Airline Operations Centre or Airport Operations experience is an asset. Strong communications skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders. Make effective decisions regarding scheduling and customer requirements for charters and other flights. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a high-stress, deadline driven, ever-changing work environment while prioritizing tasks and assignments.
