Job Description: This position is responsible for the coordination and management of Flight Management Systems Navigation Database and AMI-OPC products requirements for airlines and aircraft operators worldwide. Direct customer-facing interaction is required to ensure complex custom and standard databases are designed/built to customer specifications. This position ensures the NavDB is built to ARINC 424 standards and AMI-OPC as per customer specifications and delivered on-time every 28 days to meet AIRAC regulatory requirements. Job Responsibilities: Manage the database structure and contents with the scope and size limitations of various Flight Management Systems Work with Product Support Engineering, Design Engineering, Technical Support and Distribution teams in order to answer customer inquiries in a timely manner Use multiple proprietary IT tools, databases, and resources to create, code, validate, verify, and produce databases Coordinate with the customer on the requirements needed to build Navigation and AMI-OPC Databases Ensure that the database is built to those requirements every 28 days Job Requirements: Knowledge of Air Navigation routes, Flight Instrument Charts and Flight Planning Proficiency in Avionics and Knowledge of Flight Management System Soft skills to build customer relationships and positive customer communication skills Knowledge of Aeronautical Information Publications, Performance Based Navigation, Instrument Flight Procedures and cartographical maps Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant discipline plus 3 to 5 years of related experience Working knowledge of Aviation principles Proficiency in computer applications Must be highly proficient in speaking/writing English language Knowledge of DO-200A / Six Sigma Aviation operations experience (Airline Flight Planning / Flight Dispatch / FMS Operation / ARINC 424) Job Details: Company: Honeywell Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
