Job Description:
In this role, you will partner with Customer Development Managers and Shopper Marketing to develop, execute and optimize merchandising plans, digital content, and category growth strategies. You will have the opportunity to work on the Vogue NA haircare portfolio, including brands such as OGX, Maui Moisture, Neutrogena, and Aveeno.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, utilize, and share best-in-class thinking to improve functional efficiency and accuracy of findings and recommendations.
- Ensure that data is organized, reported and accurate when devising data sets through careful review and refinement prior to running analytical tests.
- Collaborate with Customer Development Managers to evaluate and evolve promotional plans and track competitive marketplace activity to unlock growth opportunities.
- Work with internal partners to provide voice of customer to craft our go to market initiatives and to provide an understanding of the external marketplace.
- Actively uncover business opportunities with deep-dive analytics using various resources including, but not limited to: Syndicated Data (Nielsen/IRI), Marketplace (Stackline/Profitero), HH Panel (Numerator), and Media Performance Metrics (Amazon, Roundel, WMG, etc…). Independently discern trends and provide insights-based recommendations to deliver business objectives
- Develop daily/weekly/monthly reporting across all lines of business
- Uncover groundbreaking Omni Category insights and solutions for our customers / shoppers / consumers that deliver on critical metrics for optimization
- Develop assortment optimization recommendations by providing shopper, category, brand and/or customer insights.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of two (2) years of prior experience in customer sales, category insights/management, analytics, shopper marketing/insights, or related field is required
- Passion for analytics, quality and performance, with a desire to be leading the evolution of performance marketing within Johnson & Johnson is required.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Degree in marketing, finance or information technology is preferred.
- Analytical thinking to understand, analyze and synthesize large volumes of data and address complex questions into clear analyses and actionable findings and implications is required.
- Ability to work independently with an entrepreneurial mindset, multi-tasking and the aptitude to prioritize tasks is required.
- Excellent data visualization and communication skills, including the ability to clearly and effectively communicate and present findings to stakeholders at all levels is required.
- Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organizational skills is required.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel, PowerPivot and PowerPoint is required.
- Understanding of SEO practices as it relates to data analysis and insights is preferred.
- Experience with syndicated measurement (Nielsen, IRI, Hitwise, comScore, NetBase) is highly preferred.
- Experience in Social Media, Voice of Consumer, CRM, Competitive Analysis, Benchmarking is preferred.
