What does this role look like?
Join the team that is responsible for the Assembly, Test, and Launch of a major satellite systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Opportunities include supporting certified test conductors of system and subsystem mechanical and electrical testing, assembly, and transport operations.
  • Work closely with technical specialists and test support staff to meet the needs of the programs.
  • Opportunities also include electrical and environmental stress testing of subsystems at the box and board levels; operate and troubleshoot automated test equipment; develop and review test procedures; work with mechanical and electrical ground support equipment; preparing and executing Technical Interchange Meetings and pre-test meetings.
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance required for this role.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Sciences, Physics or a related discipline from an accredited college/university. This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
  • Exposure with electrical/mechinal test engineering and test support. Familiarity Experience with electrical test equipment such as bench top power supplies, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and data acquisition systems. Familiarity with automated test equipment and the Windows workstation environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

  • Telecommute: The work associated with this position will be performed at the designated Lockheed Martin facility. Situational telecommuting may be considered and authorized at the discretion of your leader and based upon the role.
  • Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
