Job Description The purpose of this role is to lead the implementation of sustainable performance improvement processes that lead the department to achieve excellence in Quality, ensure Quality Management Systems are adequately maintained and continuously improved and support the programs required for compliance to FDA regulation for OTC drug products and L’Oreal system requirements. Job Responsibilities Ensure quality performance improvement processes are implemented and driven throughout the department, plant and its culture. Partner with cross functional teams in corporate operations and sister plants to implement quality performance improvement projects/processes and influence the direction of the organization in alignment with the needs of the department. Establish quality performance improvement objectives to address department, plant and corporate strategies. Define the implementation of strategy for the processes to be implemented. Partner with cross functional teams in the department and plant to implement quality performance improvement projects/processes and influence the direction of the organization in alignment with the needs of the department. Develop and drive implementation of new quality performance improvement processes and ensure their sustainability to meet department objectives. Coach and train employees at all levels on the new processes implemented and articulate how changes/non-changes will positively impact the organization in the long term. Drive the steering meetings regarding quality performance improvement initiatives. Job Requirements Must be able to act with discretion and confidentiality. SPC, and/or lean tools Team leader and change agent Current PC Skills utilizing Excel, and related MS Office Software are necessary for success. Requires ability for test design and interpretation of results. Experience in a manufacturing environment with cGMP preferred in FMCG and/or OTC. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality management role or relevant industry experience. BS Degree in a Science or Engineering field, Masters preferred. Must have strong communication skills, presentation skills, writing skills.
