Job Responsibilities:
- To supervise the operation of and the closing down of the bars and the service of food and beverages as required. To initiate correct charges for the above.
- To ensure all end of day procedures are carried out.
- To ensure team understand and adhere to service standards across all areas to maximise customer satisfaction and achieve consistency.
- To keep abreast of and adhere to relevant legislation to ensure Hotel compliance, especially fire procedures and night evacuation, ensuring that legal requirements regarding training are met and that everyone on the night team is fully conversant with roles.
- To liaise effectively with other Managers (Reception, Conference & Banqueting) to ensure the co-ordination of these areas and ensure full handover from Late Duty Manager and to Early Duty Manager.
- To check cleanliness of all areas of the hotel and handover completed checklists to the early Housekeeper on duty.
Job Requirements:
- Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
- Innovative
- Pro-active and reliable
- Able to work alone and within a team
- Experience of a front desk system
