Job Responsibilities: Coordinate between Airport Cargo Operations and Outstations for shipments requiring Special Handling/Attention to ensure smooth movement of Cargo. You will visit cargo agents and participate in telesales and promotional activities to generate maximized cargo sales working to meet and exceed the year’s target. Implement selling strategies planned by managers for the assigned station to ensure optimum revenues for Qatar Airways Maintaining a close relationship with QR Space Control and customers ensuring their shipments are transferred and delivered on time. Assist customers/clients with all the information related to booking/forwarding/delivery liaising with local Ground Handling Agents and with Head Office Cargo department Distributing QR promotional items, circulars, memos and announcements to the agents to provide information on QR products. Effectively maintain accounts and key customers and plan Sales Calls, submit Sales Calls, plan Sales Reports as required. Assist supervisor in prioritizing on the sectors based on yield and regularity of traffic flown as booked to fulfill our commitment to regular clients. Job Requirements: As a representative of the Qatar Airways brand, you will be an ambassador of our Qatar Airways Values, systems, processes and policies. This role demands a high level of energy, intelligence and style. Besides you should have good job knowledge of Cargo Sales, Cargo Marketing, Basic Rating and should be good in statistics and analyzing and also be able to meet deadlines. Qualification & Experience: Good knowledge of various aircraft configuration and capacity limitation, Awareness of cargo products, dangerous goods regulations and IATA/TACT regulations. Diploma or Associate Degree or equivalent however a bachelor’s degree would be preferred. Minimum of 4 years of job-related experience Computer literate and have good command of written and spoken English. Good customer service and Negotiation skills.
