Job Description: This position is located in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations, Office of Facility Management, Construction, Facility, and Security Management Directorate, Facility Asset Management Division (OBO/CFSM/FAC/FAM). The incumbent serves as the Division Director of the Facility Asset Management Division with supervisory responsibility for the long-term responsibilities and day-to-day operations of the Division. Job Responsibilities: Oversees all aspects of assigned projects from concept through post-completion activities to include oversight of the request for proposal. Coordinates with the appropriate personnel within OBO to establish schedules, project scope criteria, budgets, and dependencies and responsibilities. Organizes and leads large interdisciplinary teams of architects, engineers, planners, analysts, attorneys and real estate professionals toward the successful award of complex, high dollar value construction projects. Serves as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) to ensure contracts are properly monitored, administered, and executed; determines workload/technical requirements and contracting of needed services in support of project goals and objectives. Manages multiple major projects simultaneously, keeping stakeholders and senior management apprised of progress, risks and issues, while achieving a defined schedule for all project activities. Job Requirements: Incumbent will be subject to random drug testing. Verification of employment eligibility in the United States is required. One year probationary period, unless excepted by regulation. New supervisors must successfully complete a 1 year probationary period.
