Job Description: The Vibration Specialist is an essential position for our Montreal refinery’s activities, helping to improve core operations to maximize value. Under the supervision of mechanical engineers, you will work with the mechanical reliability group at our Montreal refinery. As part of a young and dynamic team, you will be responsible for resolving the causes of recurring equipment failure or rupture by applying failure and rupture analysis techniques (using the vibration measurement tool) according to the priorities established with the sector team. Job Responsibilities: Evaluate and process new repair requests using system (SAP) data to help determine the reliability team’s priorities Ensure vibration technicians adhere to the monitoring schedule and support vibration technicians in the diagnostics they are contributing to (Failure and Breakdown Analysis, Avoidable Maintenance, etc.) Optimize preventive maintenance plans and procedures for rotating equipment Administer the lubrication program As part of a multidisciplinary team, troubleshoot and recommend improvements for major or more problematic equipment repair Recommend equipment upgrades or new technologies where necessary to minimize equipment failure and downtime Provide technical expertise in defining projects for the purchase and installation of new equipment and the revision of drawings Participate in the implementation of conditional monitoring of remote equipment using wireless technology as part of Suncor’s 4.0 transformation Job Details: Company: Suncor Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Montreal, CA Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
