Job Description: Tesla is currently looking for an experienced field incident investigator with a background in collision reconstruction and forensic analysis to support our Vehicle Engineering team as a Vehicle Engineering Incident Investigator for the East North American Region. Location is flexible but you must reside in the East Coast. Job Responsibilities: Develop process procedures for standardizing investigation activity Be a part of a team of incident investigators in the region and respond to calls for inspections or data gathering. Communicate results and findings effectively Support field investigations on-site and remotely (travel may be required) Organize and compile reports on incidents for internal release Participate in reviews of incidents with vehicle engineering teams and other teams within Tesla Job Requirements: Strong communication skills and technical ability Specific training or accreditation in collision reconstruction/investigation (such The Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionists - ACTAR) Deep understanding of the Human, Vehicle and Environment components of crash investigation and reconstruction 4+ years of experience in vehicle crash investigations (including vehicle/scene inspections, Event Data Recorder (EDR) collection, and forensic photography) Experience with high voltage vehicle systems Experience with collision reconstructions tools (such as Event Data Recorder (EDR) tools, CAD software, crash reconstruction software, scene scanning equipment, photogrammetry, diagnostic tools, etc.) Experience working with local and/or federal law enforcement personnel regarding case investigations Job Details: Company: Tesla Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Washington, DC, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here getyourvacancy.com
