Job Description: We are seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager to focus on supporting the project management aspects of our equipment design and build lifecycle. In this role, you will function as the key liaison between the manufacturing engineering team responsible for specifying the equipment requirements, and the technical team responsible for the development and execution of the automation equipment. The Project Manager will work intimately with these teams to manage high visibility / value projects, and will apply project management skills to assure the timely and efficient execution of the projects. Job Responsibilities: Continuously monitor and measure project processes and activities to identify and communicate potential issues, risks, or problems in a timely fashion and provide corrective action options to drive to resolution Provide insight around potential risks and opportunities, resolve conflict, initiate resolution and deliver results. Work with manufacturing engineering to identify the success criteria of the project. Manage timelines, resources, communications, quality, risks, whilst uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, identifying resource constraints, and any other issues that arise. Finalize project scope, define initial assumptions, and secure project resources. Escalate schedule delays due to issues and risks. Lead cross-functional teams in design reviews, functional testing, and .installation. Includes resource & dependency alignment, coordination of activities, and transparent communication of project status and risk. Monitor budgets and spend to match closely. Identify and document all project milestones and deliverables and keep project plans up to date at all times, including resource allocations, tracking hours, monitoring schedules, milestones, deliverables, updating percentage completion, etc. Work intimately with manufacturing engineering teams to define, implement and drive project requirements, workflows and plans. Qualification & Experience: Familiarity with Agile principles. 5-10 years of program/project management experience in a fast paced, highly fluid environment or other evidence of exceptional ability. Experience aligning with project stakeholders, engineering designers, and equipment builders. Proficiency in MS Office Suite and MS Project. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering. Experience with complex electromechanical equipment. Demonstrated, applied experience delivering complex programs and projects.
