Job Description:
At Tesla, our Service Technicians are the backbone of the Service operation, who consistently deliver a revolutionary and exceptional experience to Tesla customers every day, supporting our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect vehicles prior to customer delivery to the internal approved standard
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of all Tesla vehicle systems and subsystems
- Work across local and international teams, engaging with other technicians, service center staff and engineering to solve problems and establish best practice
- Demonstrate complete ownership of the repair from intake until the vehicle is returned to the customer
- Operate a variety of tools, working with Tesla specific software and vehicle diagnostic tools
- Collaborate with fellow Senior Technicians and Lead Technicians, carrying out more advanced tasks as part of your development, continuously learning and developing your knowledge and skills
- Act on escalations and collaborating with more senior technicians if further escalation is required for complex issues
- Coach and assist more junior level Service Technicians in their work
- Perform all repairs and maintenance on all types of Tesla vehicles
- Ensure a high standard of documentation of work performed in our systems

- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet challenging deadlines by demonstrating excellent time management skills
- Good working knowledge of Tesla designed software and vehicle diagnostic tools
- Ability to learn and adapt to a changing environment while delivering on performance KPIs
- Demonstrate an exceptional performance mindset and attitude driven to deliver results
- Excellent communication skills in English are essential and an ability to translate technical concerns to our customers
- Education in a mechanical or electrical-related discipline and significant technical work experience from automotive industry or a related industry Aeronautics, Engines, Electrical, Marine, Aviation, other mechanics or industrial mechanic etc.)
