The role is responsible to lead Digital Projects end to end from idea stage to implementation across various Manufacturing units in NAME region. Additionally, as a part of this role, the candidate would be responsible to deploy pre-existing global Master-apps, lead cyber security agenda and work with the factory managers to curate and execute factory specific digital masterplan. Job Responsibilities: Lead on ground training & deployment for various solutions for Site Technicians/Engineers so they are appropriately trained to own and use Digital systems. Own Manufacturing cyber security program for NAME Manufacturing sites, liaison with Global Cyber security TAs to land Unilever Cyber Security Work package program to mitigate cyber security threats for OT Networks. Invest fully in developing & polishing his/her Digital Skills and develop technical subject matter expertise. Responsible for governing execution of projects as per Digital Transformation masterplan outlined for each manufacturing unit. The candidate would proactively engage with the sites to identify key losses(e.g Waste, Efficiency, Safety Quality) and propose technical solutions to relevant challenges. Liaison with Unilever’s global teams and own deployment and adoption of pre-existing solutions(master-apps). Function as first point of contact for technical support for Manufacturing Digital Systems (in OT Computer networks, Databases, Locally designed Digital systems, Masterapps). Lead design of select NAME/Arabia solution design projects, where the candidate would be responsible to deliver solutions end to end (this would include Process Mapping, Full Software Design, Hardware integration and deployment). Lead technical execution (Software design/programming, integration, configuration) and Work closely with Engineers on manufacturing sites to land digital transformation projects. Job Requirements: The ideal candidate should have worked for 3+ years in Project/System/Software Engineering. Earlier experience with manufacturing operations as Process/Automation/Technical Engineer would be a plus. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferred – Electrical or Computer Science background). Strong understanding of automation systems (PLCs/Drives/OT networks) is required, Experience with Automation system programming would be a plus. Intermediate Programming skills in any programming language are a must (e.g C#, Python). The ideal candidate would have developed fully functional software application(s) end to end. The ideal candidate would have excellent communication/Stake holder management skills and would have managed multiple complex projects end to end. Good understanding of Computer Networks, network topologies, firewalls, and OT Cyber Security Best practices.
