Marathon Hiring – Area I&E Supervisor

Job Description:

This position serves as a supervisor in the operations, maintenance, testing and inspection for the I&E group. This position will both oversee and perform installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repairs and system development for all systems including motor controls, distributive controls, PLC’s, communications systems such as satellite, cellular, RF systems, SCADA operations maintenance and any other technical issues that may arise. Duties will also include, but not limited to, daily monitoring of compressor stations, and dehy facilities, for any control/electrical issues. The position will have the ability to give assistance to construction, measurement and communications on an as needed basis. The individual must demonstrate good communication skills

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in preparing OPEX and Capital budgets
  • Responsible for scheduling of all I&E Tech employees
  • Ensures all employees adhere to documented safety policies and procedure
  • Ensures proper use of Oracle and SAP systems for accurate record keeping, monitoring and data collection
  • Builds a data driven program for Continuous Improvement initiatives for optimal efficiency, operations and cost reduction
  • 24-hour monitoring of Control and Data Acquisition system
  • Oversee the installation and calibration of electrical or instrument devices related to MPLX
  • Oversee optimal performance of system controls including DELTAV & SCADA operations and maintenance
  • Strict adherence to the company Code of Conduct and Guiding Principles
  • Maintain scheduled preventative maintenance programs on instrumentation and electrical equipment
  • Oversee the Maintenance and Repair of software automations related issues

Job Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Driver License and have an excellent driving record
  • Must be able to pass a DOT drug test and background check
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Applicants must be professional, have a positive attitude and be a team player
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and execute many tasks at once

Qualification & Experience:

  • 5+ years of applicable experience
