Origin Careers – Computing Technician

Job Description:

Reporting to the Information Systems Manager, this 12 month limited term role will focus on providing all levels of IT support to around 40 users based at the APLNG Corporate office. This will also include Office 365 systems admin, migrations, configuration, implementation and security The role is based in our Corporate Office and will also be required to work with our third party end-user desktop support team to handle tickets that require local presence, or not in the scope of the Fastrack service desk.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform systems administration tasks for the O365 tenancy (with third party service desk vendor)
  • Perform systems administration tasks for other applications such as Objective, Boardbooks
  • Provide expertise to users on all things Office 365 (exchange Online, Teams, InTune, PowerBI etc) and iOS devices
  • Perform systems administration tasks for meeting room technology, wi-fi and printers

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ability for thorough and critical review
  • 2 or more years experience in an IT support or systems administration role with O365
  • A track record of meeting the business needs of clients including deadlines
  • Experience in development, documentation and implementation of standards, policies and processes in information management
  • Well developed communication skills
