Cerner Job Openings – Engagement Controller I

Job Responsibilities:

• As an Engagement Controller I, you will manage the project and project teams in terms of the delivery of Cerner client projects.
• You will be responsible to manage and deliver project management tasks, monitor and report on contractual scope management, and escalate project risks as appropriate.
• You will maintain and monitor the project plan to ensure project financial health and successful outcomes.
• Be able to coordinate the support of project client events.
• Ensuring appropriate resource alignment and build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.

Job Requirements:

• At least 4 years additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education
• Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position
• Must live within 60 miles of a virtually approved city
• Bachelors degree
• At least 5 years total combined relevant work experience and completed higher education including:
• At least 1 year of healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support, project/program management, client relationship management and/or other client-facing or HCIT solution work experience
• Must be willing to travel up to 25%
• Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
• Due to the client contract you will be assigned, this position requires you to be a U.S. citizen
