Job Description: As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above. Job Responsibilities: Investigating incidents, which may create actual or potential losses, committed by non-associates Conducting administrative duties as they relate to the Loss Prevention process. Management and oversight of contract security services Responding to emergencies and investigating reports of known or suspected internal theft, violence or the threat of violence or other criminal acts of an associate Scheduling and conducting Shrink and Safety Assessments to evaluate compliance with operational controls related to shrink and safety performance in key stores Keeping abreast of or responding to local issues or activities that may impact the safety/security of customers or associates, or create a business risk and to provide appropriate support Responsible for the Ft. Myers, Naples, and Marco Island areas. Evaluating financial reports to identify improvement opportunities with regard to shrink reduction, workers’ compensation and general liability, control of cash losses and vendor credits Identifying and reacting to stores for which a risk assessment is appropriate and overseeing the installation and use of security related equipment Job Requirements: Five (5) years of Publix retail management experience Two (2) years of multi-store loss prevention experience with Knowledge of methods used to analyze and interpret large quantities of data Working knowledge of criminal justice system and investigation processes Knowledge of retail accounting methods High school diploma or equivalent experience Knowledge of the retail environment and how it operates Five (5) years of retail loss prevention and safety experience with Knowledge of retail loss prevention processes, procedures, and programs Two (2) years of management of people, not necessarily direct reports OR Knowledge of general safety practices, procedures, and policies as they relate to a retail environment Job Details: Company: Publix Super Markets Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Ft.
